We are looking to find an experienced, motivated, eager & flexible team member who will hit the ground running, make a positive impact and help us all continue to build the business in our Energy division. As an Electrical Engineer you will be expected to be autonomous; your core duties in this role may include:

 

  • Client & stakeholder management;

  • Programming;

  • Design & documentation management;

  • Review of Contractor designs;

  • Managing site teams and personnel;

  • Ensuring best practice in quality & safety;

  • Procurement;

  • Project administration including contract management;

  • Budget & cashflow management;

  • Reporting; and

  • Site inspections and audits.

 

It is important to note that there may be some interstate travel required from time to time.

 

About You

 

The right candidate will demonstrate that they have an electrical engineering degree with three – five years industry experience.  

 

You will be proactive, crave learning, and be driven to deliver high quality outcomes. You’ll be able to juggle multiple projects and conflicting priorities. You will have already been involved with projects from start to finish.

 

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree;

  • 3-5 years industry experience which includes knowledge of Australian Standards for electrical systems and experience in design reviews for both HV and LV; and

  • Melbourne based.

 

Preferred:

  • Registered on the NER;

  • Experience with SCADA systems;

  • Experience in a consultancy;

  • Hands on construction experience;

  • Knowledge of building industry contracts, sound administration practices;

  • Competent in Microsoft Office incl MS Project;

  • Experience in using Procore;

  • Exceptional ability to communicate at all levels; and

  • Efficient time management and organisation.
