The Opportunity

We are looking to find an experienced, motivated, eager & flexible team member who will hit the ground running, make a positive impact and help us all continue to build the business. As Project Manager you will expected to be autonomous - responsible for all time, budget and quality aspects of the projects you are managing. You will run the projects but have the support of the Senior PMs & Directors. Your core duties in this role will include:

 

  • Client & stakeholder management;

  • Programming;

  • Design & documentation management;

  • Review of Contractor designs;

  • Managing site teams and personnel;

  • Ensuring best practice in quality & safety;

  • Procurement;

  • Project administration including contract management;

  • Budget & cashflow management;

  • Reporting; and

  • Site inspections and audits.

 

It is important to note that there may be some interstate travel required from time to time.

About You

The right candidate will demonstrate that they have one to five years industry experience and preferably education and training in the construction industry such as a Bachelor of building, engineering, project management degree or similar.

 

You will be proactive, crave learning, and be driven to deliver high quality outcomes. You’ll be able to juggle multiple projects and conflicting priorities. You will have already been involved with projects from start to finish.

 

Mandatory:

  • Knowledge of building industry contracts, sound administration practices;

  • 1-5 years industry experience as a project manager; and

  • Melbourne based.

 

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of building industry contracts, sound administration practices;

  • Hands on construction experience;

  • Experience in a consultancy;

  • Competent in Microsoft Office incl MS Project;

  • Experience in using Procore;

  • Exceptional ability to communicate at all levels; and

  • Efficient time management and organisation.
