7 ELEVEN - PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT

Programme Management VIC, NSW & QLD

7 months??

$12.5M+

Scope:

Superintendent, Design & Construction Management, Programme Management, Dangerous Goods (DG) Advisory Services

Background:

Since February 2018, SwitchCo Projects have worked alongside 7-Eleven acting as delivery partner to manage the implementation of fuel and environmental system upgrades across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Acting as superintendent and programme manager, SwitchCo Projects have led these programme’s on behalf of 7-Eleven, managing the scoping, design, construction and closeout of each site with a dedicated project team working from our Melbourne office.

Challenges:

As with all new clients, it took time to get up to speed to understand the project delivery framework, key project and company drivers, company policies and the way each
client operates. These key metrics and requirements were established during the first engagement and project together with 7-Eleven in February 2018 allowing us to seamlessly extend the programme into the following years.

Outcome:

By understanding the client’s requirements, methodologies, and way of working, we were able to tailor our services suit the client, adding maximum value and bang for your buck. This has led to SwitchCo Projects being nominated to continue managing the next stages of each programme, and achieve cost savings by applying procedures developed and lessons learned as part of our continuous improvement strategy and culture. In addition to project management services, SwitchCo Projects has leveraged off our in-house retail fuel experience and Dangerous Goods (DG) qualifications to review the fuel system design, and manage the design, construction and commissioning of environmental wastewater diversion and forecourt treatment systems.
