Pacific Hydro Australia engaged SwitchCo Projects to undertake the early-works requirements for the Crowlands Wind Farm.  Acting on behalf of the Client, we engaged and then worked closely with Engineers, Contractors and Authorities to help our Client bring the project to life.
SwitchCo Projects assisted Pacific Hydro with Cultural Heritage surveys and investigations, native vegetation surveys, land surveys, mine site mapping and analysis, land owner engagement, project scoping for procurement, technical services, and tender analysis.  

AECOM was engaged as engineer to perform the external road network upgrade designs, bridge design, water crossings, geotechnical investigations, and overdimensional load modelling.

MPC Kinetic was appointed to undertake the Civil works including; road upgrades, bridge works and waterway crossings, signage, ground improvement, construction compound constructions and fencing.

The Ausnet Electrical Network solution was unique to Crowlands, with SwitchCo providing commercial and technical assistance through to the signing of the connection agreements.
