SwitchCo Projects undertook the early-works requirements for the Yaloak South Wind Farm on behalf of Pacific Hydro Australia.  Acting on behalf of the Client, we engaged and then worked closely with Engineers, Contractors and Authorities to help our Client bring the project to life.
Acting on behalf of the Client, we: 

 

• Ran a tender process and then engaged AECOM to enable design works for the external road network upgrades, water crossings, geotechnical investigations, and overdimensional load modelling.  

• Ran a tender process and then engaged Fulton Hogan to undertake the Civil works including road upgrades, waterway crossings, signage, site entrance, construction compound constructions and fencing.

• Provided commercial and technical assistance through to the signing of the Connection agreements as the Powercor Electrical Network solution was unique to Yaloak South.

• SwitchCo Projects also assisted Pacific Hydro with cultural heritage surveys and investigations, native vegetation surveys, land surveys, land owner engagement, project scoping for procurement, technical services, and tender analysis.
